FPC Guest Table, Community Dinner for February

FPC Guest Table serves a community dinner on the first Friday of each month at First Parish Church of Stow & Acton. We welcome everyone from Stow, and surrounding towns, who are looking for a sense of community, or just want a change of atmosphere.

The next meal will be offered on Friday, February 1, from 5:30-6:30 PM. The menu this month offers meatloaf (vegetarian option available), salad, mashed potatoes, peas, bread & butter, and dessert. CHRISTMAS IN NEW ENGLAND: FPC Christmas Vespers

This year's annual Holiday Vesper Service at FPC will welcome our new settled minister, the Rev. Dr. Cynthia Landrum, to Stow with a program titled Christmas in New England.

The service will feature music by New England composers, including Daniel Pinkham's interesting and iconic Christmas Cantata, Gwyneth Walker's Rejoice! for choir, brass quintet, and piano, and some of your favorite carols, hymns, and readings from this area.

The Kennedys

Community Vigil for Tree of Life Synagogue

The Board of Trustees invites you to join fellow FPC members and friends in a vigil on the lawn in front of FPC. We will hold this vigil in honor of the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh PA who lost 11 precious members to a violent shooter on Saturday. FPC's 149th HARVEST FAIR

Saturday, October 13th, 2018 - 9:30AM to 3:00PM

Fall is here. It is time to celebrate with the 149th annual Harvest Fair on Saturday, October 13 from 9:30 AM to 3 PM. Rain or shine! 

A full lunch and snacks will be available, as well as FPC’s “famous” apple pies and other homemade baked goods and preserves. A large variety of CDs, books and retro jewelry will be for sale, as well as gently used toys and games. The event will feature a moon bounce, crafts, games and prizes. Live music will also be featured.

Das Ensemble Cantissimo

Ensemble Cantissimo, a professional choir from Germany featuring 24 singers, is coming to Stow for a performance on a Northeast US tour which includes a performance as a featured ensemble in the Yale International Choral Festival in New Haven. Boston Pride 2018

The Social Justice Council and the LGBTQ Awareness Task Force invite you to join us for Boston Pride on Saturday, June 9th. Last year we had a huge contingent that walked the full length of the parade route. This year, we are offering a different plan.
